Latest Nature's Energies News ..... Welcome to 2012. We are currently in the Chinese Solar Year 4709, which is a Water Dragon year.  It starts on January 23, 2012 in China's Time Zone. It is recommended that you are well prepared with your Feng Shui. Feng Shui energies change from year to year. It is therefore necessary to watch for the re-allocation of positive and negative energies at the beginning of each year, so that we can take necessary precautions when the negative energy happens to arrive at important locations of our home and/or office or affects our Four Pillars (Chinese Astrology). The following Feng Shui tips will make your year a good year;

1. If you are born in the year of the Dog or Dragon it is best to wear a Rooster Pendant for the whole of 2012 as it will help to harmonise any challenges you may experience, as you may find 2012 more challenging than previous years. People born in the year of the Dog will anticipate more travelling, or movements such as changing jobs or moving house.
   
   For people who are born in the year of the Rooster, the Dragon year will bring “Flower of Romance” so one can anticipate a more sociable year with more opportunity to develop friendship with the opposite sex... People born in the year of the Tiger or Dog will be into year of “Travelling Horse” and the Dragon year will trigger more travelling and movement.
   
   Generally speaking the animals combining with the Dragon year are the Monkey, the Rat, and the Rooster and these animals are in a year of harmony.
2. Flying Star Feng Shui suggests that in order to suppress negative energies and obstacles, you will need to use a brass metal wind chime in the South East sector of the garden and Brass Metal Protective Bell in the South East sector of your home. Hang the bell on the back of a door or a drawer or other regularly used item to help suppress negative energies. Do not carry out any form or renovation and try to stay away from afflicted SE sector but if this is not possible, use remedies to reduce or overcome its ill effects. Keep the color red and bright lights, in fact anything associated with fire, away from here as we do not want to strengthen its earth influence. The 5 Element Pagoda is one of the most effective cures for the 5 Yellow.
3. In 2012, the #3 Dispute Star flies to the South West. It is wise to be cautious, as #3 is not inherently a fortunate energy and can bring short tempers, arguments, legal problems, divorce, and so forth. As with any negative influence, minimize use of this area and postpone renovation works. As the #3 is of the wood element, avoid adding water or watery colors or symbols, as Water nourishes Wood. In fact, it is advisable to remove water features that may have been placed there previously. It is best to reduce #3 Wood Element using the Fire Element as Fire “consumes” Wood. So burn candles, use bright lights, place accessories that are red, like Red Tassels, lamps with red lamp shades, red flowers, or triangular shaped objects. Feng Shui cures for this star includes displaying the Laughing Buddha to transform the hostile and argumentative qi to harmonious energy.
4. You will need a brass calabash and/or Six Chinese Coins located in the North sector of the home for 2012. The Six Coins and Magic Golden Fan Amulet could be considered as very important in this sector as the golden fan fans away bad chi energy giving even better protection and repelling negative sickness energy. Be extra careful if your main door is located in the South East or the North sector in 2012.
5. The bad star 3 is a star of conflict and robbery. This is present in the South West of the house. It is necessary to put a piece of red paper in the SW to minimize such bad influence.
6. It is recommended that you place a feng shui I Ching Coin into a red envelope, and then place it in the central sector of your home.
7. Also the bad star 7, representing scandals is in the North west, the traditional solution for this bad star 7 is to place 3 piece of bamboo plant grown in clear glass vase of water in the North west location.
8.  Also place the three legged toad facing towards the inside of the house.
9. Select a Pi Yao of your choice and place it in the North West sector of your home facing South East for additional protection.
10. Place a Wealth Magnifier in the South East sector of your home.
11. Place a set of 3 I-Ching Coins with the yang side facing up under your front door mat to bring wealth into the home.
12. The Grand Duke this year is in the South East whilst the Three Killings is located in the South, hence it is not favourable to "move earth" in the garden or make substantial construction work in these sectors. It is also not recommended for one to sit with their back against the South as you will be sitting against the "unfavourable energy". If this is unavoidable place a Dragon Tortoise facing South on your desk as it is said to appease the Grand Duke. The Tai Sui Horoscope Protective Coin can also be used for this purpose. The North west is the “Crash position” against the Grand Duke which is also not good to sit.
